Welcome to my new website!

Hi,

My name is David Knapton. Here I will share with you my biography, or at least something about me, my interests and most importantly my latest poetry!

First, let me introduce myself. I’m an octogenarian, a husband, father and grandfather living in Needham, Mass. Of course, I’m long retired now, most recently having been employed by the US DoT as an engineer at the National Transportation Systems Center in Cambridge.

I’m married to Carol, who sadly has Alzheimer’s Disease. This year was our sixtieth anniversary. Wow! I’ve got four children and two grandchildren and two step grandchildren. More on them later…

My interests are wide ranging, and will address them in more detail, but I really enjoy writing and sharing my poetry. I write about nature and its interaction and effects upon human thought and action. Topics include animals, weather, etc. It’s wide ranging based upon my observations and revelations. I hope you’ll peruse them and let me know what they do to you.
